Uber and Lyft Lawsuits

Because of their unique business model and failure to conduct sufficient background checks on their drivers, Uber and Lyft have created an environment where potentially dangerous individuals interact with the public. This subjects innocent passengers to a range of potential injuries from unlawful detainment to physical and/or sexual assault. If an Uber or Lyft driver has injured you, we can help.

Hernia Mesh Injuries

More than 1 million hernia surgeries are performed in the United States annually. Many hernia mesh surgeries have resulted in patients experiencing severe complications, including, but not limited to, adhesion, infections, abdominal pain, bowel obstructions, perforations of organs or tissues, migration, erosion, recurrence of the hernia, and mesh failure. If you have suffered one or more of these injuries, please contact us for advice.

Talcum Powder Injuries

Talcum powder has been linked to ovarian cancer and mesothelioma. People who have used talcum powder in their genital area are at risk for these deadly diseases. If you have been diagnosed with either of these types of cancer, contact us to discuss your options.

Boy Scouts of America Abuse

Abuse survivors can now file claims against the Boy Scouts of America for the abuse they suffered. If you choose to file a claim, it will be completely confidential and not part of the public record (unless you agree otherwise. Deadline to file claims is November 16, 2020.

IVC Filter Injuries

Medical research has determined that approximately 1 out of every 4 IVC filters fail. IVC filters are used to help prevent pulmonary embolisms in patients with an increased risk and unable to take blood thinners. A patient with a failed IVC filter may suffer device migration, device fracture, perforation of vessels or organs, tilting of the device, or an irremovable device.

Port A Cath Injuries

A port catheter or “port-a-cath” or “chemo port” is a small implanted medical device that is commonly used to help administer medications directly to a patients blood stream. Injuries occur when the port-a-cath is designed using inferior materials or suggested safety protocols are not followed during the manufacturing process. Port-a-caths can migrate, rupture or fracture internally requiring additional surgeries to remove. Some port-a-caths can leak resulting in severe infections including MSRA or sepsis as well as necrosis of the skin.
